Wrapping # 2....

OK, we left yesterday's blog with ideas on craft organizing.  Some people have craft rooms, and some have craft closets, down to under the bed storage.  It's all good, as long as we know where everything is when we are ready to use it.  Now many of us do the usual wrapping at the holidays like this....

#Christmas *wants this wrapping paper!*
This is probably what my wrapping looks like, although I use the colorful paper for the children's gifts, and I try and put a really nice bow on the adult gifts.

This lady's wrapping matches her tree!  She said she likes to be coordinated with her wrapping and decorations.  This is a different color for the holidays, but very pretty!

Oh my goodness, this looks like a very merry Lilly Pulitzer Holiday!!  The perfect pink and green.

These gifts are wrapped with some imagination.  I love this idea of wrapping gifts this way.  It brings a little nature and texture inside.

This gift is lovely.  Simple yet very elegant.

Very pretty!

This is very economical.  Love the brown wrapping with the greens attached.

This is another brown paper wrapping, only used with stencils.  It looks like they even used bags to do this.
Everyone has some bags hanging around, very cool wrapping!

Who wouldn't know this is by Martha!  It looks very perfect. Very merry Martha.

This is so natural and Merry!  So Christmas.

Here is another natural gift wrapping.  I love the gift tags.  That would be easy to do.  I like this idea.

These gifts are so beautiful.  I love the idea of using all white colors.  It looks like it may be a little time consuming to wrap these gifts.  I would love receiving one of these.  It would feel so special, knowing that someone took the time to wrap my gift like this.

Gift tags with imagination.  They are so pretty.  Of course http://www.marthastewart.com/ .  I think I better start making them now so that they would be ready to go once the holidays roll around.

And last but not least, these are simply beautiful!  I would love something like this under my tree, or any other time of year for that matter!

I found so many ideas for wrapping gifts.  All of these pictures are from Pinterest.  I hope you found them helpful as well.  Does it make you stop and think about wrapping your gifts with imagination?  I hope so, because it does make people feel special to receive a gift that is beautifully wrapped.
How do you wrap your gifts?  I would love to have a link up party, but I don't know how!

Gift Wrapping

Today I would like to talk about gift wrapping.  I was wondering how everyone likes to wrap their gifts at Christmas, or any other time for gift giving.

We can start out by looking at some of the ways to store your wrapping essentials.  It would be wonderful if we all had  craft room like these....

Pinned Image
I would love to have one of these high tables in my office/craft room.  Love the colors, the green walls and white furniture looks lovely together.  I think I could really create in this room.

Pinned Image
This room looks great, love the chair, looks so comfortable.  I think she bought those cubes and built a craft table/desk.  I saw them in Michael's and AC Moore.  Very functional.

I like how this lady has a table for everything!  Craft table, sewing table, and I see another table back there.  She is very serious about her craft.  So organized.

Pinned Image
This room is so feminine.  Love the pink walls with white and green furniture.  The shelving looks awesome with her fabric all folded up.  I see some handbags over there on the desk, I wonder if she made them?
I really love those frame handbags!

This is a nice area for your crafts.  It looks like there is peg board on the wall, which is awesome!  You can hang anything on that wall.  I think my favorite thing in this room is the tall basket with the wrapping paper in it!  I would love to find one of those.

Gift Wrapping Station
I really like how this lady stored all of her ribbon.  I have something similar to this, and I love how you can keep all the ribbons at hand.  You can see what you have right there.

Now this is a cool way to store your wrappings.  It is quite handy when you don't have a lot of space to spare.  You know where everything is that you need to wrap with.  When done, close the door!

Creative space in a cupboard - Artistic Organization: Craft Rooms with Style
I have seen this done so many times.  A closet craft room.  You can really have fun with this kind of space.  I have seen it decorated so many different ways.  After you are done, just close the door on this one as well.

Pinned Image
Talk about good use of shelves.  I love the organization.  It looks so neat and clean.  Looks like she has ribbon along the side.  What a great idea.

Pinned Image
I really love how this storage unit looks.  It looks like the drawers pull out and everything is right there, ready and waiting.  Notice the shape of the drawers.  It looks like they were custom made for this unit.  And decorated so nicely.

Pinned Image
This looks like it was built right in the closet.  I especially love how she stored her wrapping paper.
underbed wrapping station
This is great for people who do not have the room to hang or spread out their wrapping material.
Handy too, just slide it under the bed!

What a great idea for ribbon.  You can carry it to where ever you need to wrap.

Think I went a little longer then I expected to go with this.  Tune in tomorrow for the pretty wrappings for gift giving.  There are so many great ideas out there, I know you will love seeing them.
Until then, have a great evening!

Happy Fall, 2011

Linking up to another Link Party:

I am linking up to the Fall Mantel Party over at A2Z Home.  Check it out here - http://www.homestoriesatoz.com/2011/09/tutorials-tips-link-party-29.html

Well it is time to decorate for fall.  I love the fall.  It is like the New Year for me.  Not so crazy about Halloween though.  Here are a few pictures of our Fall decorations....

We have the Mantel...

I thought of taking the family picture down and replacing it with a wreath, but I really love that picture, so it stays.

I love the witch!  Thought she was so cute sitting on the shelf in Home Goods.  I needed to bring her home with me.

Some fresh flowers always make me feel good.  I had bought them for a brunch that we had on Sunday.

Welcome!  I can't believe I stood right in front of the door to take this picture!

Thanks so much for visiting!  Please stop back again.
