Select profile!.....

Ok, I am so tired of having to "Select Profile" on every comment that I try and leave.  What is going on?  Is everyone else finding that as well?  You have to select profile and then you have to leave your blog address, and if that isn't bad enough, for blogs that have that extra "type the silly letters in" it is driving me crazy! 
Is there any way that this can be fixed?  I can understand why people don't want to comment that often.  I like to leave comments, but this is getting annoying.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend! / Whats wrong with Blogspot???

Hello all on this holiday weekend with beautiful weather!  I can't believe they actually call for good weather this whole weekend.  I hope everyone is spending some time with family and friends. 

 


 Please say a prayer for the people that have lost so much with the tornado's that have swept through their state.  I can't even imagine going through that.  Where do you start?  My heart aches every time I see it on the news.  I feel so blessed to be here, where tornado's are rarely seen.  My prayers are with them all.

My thanks goes out to all of our soldiers who are on the line protecting our country, and the ones that have died in doing so.  I pray that you can all come home soon.  God be with you.

                                                                            




Now, I want you all to know that I have been reading all of your blogs.  I just can't seem to comment on them!!!  I don't know what is wrong.  Some comments went through and some are not going through.  Does anyone know what is going on?



I just finished reading another installment of the O'Briens clan.  Sherryl Woods has written a series of books called "Chesapeake Shores".  Each book is about someone in the O'Brien family.  These books are such easy reads and I just love them.  I just realized I was 3 books behind so I ordered them and just finished the 2 of them.  I have one more and then another one is released in June.  I love the setting of the Chesapeake, and the O'Brien family is like so many families I know.  If you are looking for a good read this summer, pick up one of her books, but try to start with the first one, "The Inn at Eagle Point".  If you like lite reads, you won't be sorry.

A Wake Up Call.........

I was reading through blog land today and came across Kathysue's " Good Life of Design" http://goodlifeofdesign.blogspot.com/ she posted this great reminder that we all need to remember once in a while when we are out of sorts.

It makes ya think doesn't it.  It made me think, that's for sure.  Deep down we are all thankful, I know, but sometimes we just need to bring it up front and forward.

Lilly Pulitzer furniture!

New to Me!

Well, now that I have this blog I was told I should keep it going.  You see, I am usually working full time and blogging takes a back seat.  Now I have some free time on my hands so I decided to give it a go again.  I am open to advice and any tips people would like to send my way.
My husband just called to tell me he is sitting on route 422 in a rain storm.   The thing is, I think the drivers on route 422 start to panic when it rains.  Traffic goes to a craw, for no apparent reason.  I realize people want to slow down, but this is a craw.  I could probably run home faster, if I didn't have a broken ankle!  The drivers on route 422 also don't realize that the left lane is for passing!  Aren't you supposed to get a ticket if you ride in the left lane?  I need some clarification on this.  As you can tell, this is a real pet peeve of mine.  Please pass this advise on to eveyone......left lane is passing lane!
