Today has been very windy. On the news they are saying 45 - 50mph! I don't know why but wind scares me! I can put up with rain or snow but wind seems more dangerous to me. I have these images of roofs blowing off houses! That is always the first thing that comes to my mind when I hear strong wind, isn't that crazy!
Do you every wonder where we get these feelings from? I do, sometimes wondering if there is something deep in my mind from a previous life about the wind that disturbed me. Oh, who knows, I think I worry too much about silly stuff!
I have a list of things that I would like to get done today, so maybe I should get started.
I hope you all have a wonderful and relaxing weekend, or productive if you so choose.
Susan
I hope your body is 100% better realllllllly soon!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend my sweet friend-

You need to come down here and get DD3 to give you some exercises for your ankle- we always get her to 'fix' us! LOL I am scared of the wind also. Especially when we are on a bridge! When it gets over 30 mph, I tend to freak out a bit!
ReplyDeleteWind freaks me out too. We were on the 53rd floor in NYC and it felt like the building was moving because of the wind. Freaky!
ReplyDeleteI had to clean up shingles from my neighbor's roof that were all over my yard. And by clean up I mean put them on his front porch.
ReplyDeletethat darn moped (they sure are cute though, aren't they?)! Hope you are feeling well soon.

You know, wind really scares me too. I had a weird thought the other afternoon. I wonder how Louis feels when he is walking someplace, and then I swoop down and pick him up. And he can't get where he was headed.
ReplyDeleteI often fear that the wind is going to pick me up and put me down where I don't want to be. Or that it will blow my roof off. Either outcome is not appealing at all.
Thanks so much for stopping by and you have a lovely blog.
ReplyDeleteSorry about your ankle and knee. I'm assuming it was a moped accident that caused this. Ugh!
I'm your newest follower and look forward to more visits! Blessings!
Maybe we're all scared of the wind because of the Wizard of Oz?!
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting on my blog! Wishing you a speedy recovery and like your children said, enjoy the weather whenever you can! It'll be warm soon! :)
