I've been having trouble sleeping too! Luckily I don't have to ever wake up at a specific time, so sometimes I will stay up and work. If I really need to sleep, I'll re-make my bed, turn off ALL lights, change into some lighter pajamas (heavy, hot stuff makes me stay awake) and try again.
day dream, pray....or my mind thinks of all the horrible things I've ever said/done. So then I'll read or watch tvxoxoSC
I take a little OTC sleep aid in order to avoid this problem. Works like a charm.
Well, can't help you on this one. I most always sleep like a baby. I may have a couple of times a month that I wake up around 3:00 and have a hard time going back to sleep, but that's rare. Thank goodness!
I have horrible insomnia. So bad I have been put on Ambien at different times but I hate and avoid taking it. I have a special playlist of slow calming music I put on and I read a little to get my eyes tired. Ramblings of a Small Town Girl
have you tried the "aroma home" hot hugs?? i have such a hard time sleeping, too, and that little guy is such a big help!! http://howimetyourfatherblog.blogspot.com/2011/02/hot-hugs.html
I usually read, and then somehow that puts me to sleep. BUT..the other night I was up until 3:30-ish, and I couldn't figure out why. I just watched TV in the bed, and at some point I did fall asleep. I was exhausted the next day though :( I'm guessing this means you are very tired too. Boo hiss to that! Have you tried Melatonin? I used to have sleeping problems, and that was a God send. Totally natural, and non-addictive.
Some really good ideas.Thanks,Susan
